The highly anticipated annual RTPI London Young Planners’ Summer Social returned for another sell-out event at El Cantara, a hip Moroccan & Spanish influenced bar and restaurant, as suave as the venues surrounding it. And it had to be, being two doors down from the famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club!
Despite the pouring rain, planners, architects and designers flocked to experience a Catalonian and Moorish gran fiesta, with delicious tapas and sangria provided, courtesy of KDH Associates. Whether it was familiar faces, planning newbies, planners from overseas or students, all had a chance to meet new people, socialise and catch up with each other over some Spanish wine. The warm atmosphere generated, obviously did the trick, as the rain eventually subsided to allow guests to enjoy an outdoor terraced area as well.
Young Planner of the year, Zoe Green, and past RTPI London Chairs made an appearance. For those who couldn’t attend, photos and tweets were posted throughout the evening and even attracted attention from the present and past presidents of the RTPI. Thanks goes to all of the volunteers that helped out on the night to our sponsor KDH Associates for their generous support with the event.
A fantastic night it was and we can’t wait for the next RTPI London Event
