Last Wednesday, a cosmopolitan delegation descended on the Grand Union pub (Chancery Lane) for the inaugural International Planning Pub Quiz. This was organised by RTPI London, the Planning Institute of Australia and the New Zealand Planning Institute and sponsored by KDH Associates.
Over the subsequent few hours, we charged through picture rounds, pot luck, international films, a caption competition and perhaps the greatest challenge – trying to build the tallest possible structure out of spaghetti and flumps.
After an extremely close contest, first prize (champagne, courtesy of KDH) went to Quiz Team Aguilera with a stunning 81/100. A business-card raffle (drawn by Kirsty) yielded a bottle of Bollinger for Jonathan Manns, of Colliers.
Thank you to everyone who came – it was a most enjoyable evening and we hope to make it an annual event.
