You are invited to an interdisciplinary event at the City Marketing Suite on 3rd December, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

WRAP is launching a new programme on construction resource efficiency to follow on from the highly successful Halving Waste to Landfill commitment.

Resource efficient construction is achieved by using resources at their highest potential throughout the lifecycle – in product manufacture, design, construction, operation, refurbishment, and at end of life. It builds on Halving Waste to Landfill and other initiatives on carbon and energy such as the low carbon construction action plan and the low carbon routemap.

This session will provide built environment professionals an insight in to the new tools, guidance and techniques that have been developed by WRAP. This includes details on the new approach to:

  • Resource efficient Procurement
  • Designing for Resource Efficiency
  • Resource Management Plan Process
  • Resource Efficiency Reporting Portal

The session will describe how Built Environment Professionals can collaborate to achieve savings across the project and use resources more efficiently throughout the construction sector.
