REVIEW: Forgotten Spaces 2013: Exploration Workshop: Hammersmith Flyover

Fifteen planners, architects, landscape architects and designers visited Hammersmith on Thursday 11th April as part of an ‘Exploration Workshop’ for RIBA London’s Forgotten Spaces 2013 competition.

The A4 Hammersmith Flyover was used as a case study to stimulate ideas for the regeneration of the site. A talk by planners at Hammersmith & Fulham Council was followed by a study tour to the flyover site and then an ideas workshop to share and discuss creative ideas.

RTPI London is working with RIBA London to encourage engagement of planners in London in the competition process as part of multidisciplinary teams.
