RTPI London is looking for new committee members

RTPI London is seeking nominations for election to next year’s Regional Management Board and Regional Activities Committee.

The region needs more people to become involved in its Governance, CPD, writing for the London Calling blog, supporting the Young Planners Committee and other social activities. We need you to contribute views on current planning issues. What should the RTPI be doing for you and your colleagues? Why not get involved yourself, and help make things happen.

At our AGM on Thursday 22nd November we will be electing new members to the Regional Activities Committee. We will also be nominating the following principal officers to the Regional Management Board:

  • Chair – responsible for the overall leadership of the RMB and RAC
  • Senior Vice Chair – deputises for the chair, and lead in the planning for RTPI London’s centenary celebrations in 2014
  • Junior Vice Chair – provides support to the Chair and Senior Vice Chair
  • Honorary Treasury – maintains the regional accounts with the regional co-ordinator
  • Honorary Secretary – responsible for attending the national Regions and Nations Panel meetings and minuting the Regional Management Board meetings
  • Representative of General Assembly – represents RTPI London at the RTPI’s General Assembly meetings (3 per year)

  • Communications and social media
