Smart Communities Connect – World Town Planning Day – 8 November 2012 6:30 – 20:30

RTPI London, PIA UK Branch and NZPI UK Branch invite you to an evening seminar to support World Town Planning Day. This year’s debate will focus on the use of smart technologies as a tool to improve the operations of cities to make them more energy efficient, resilient and liveable places. The concept of a working ‘smart city’ could soon be a reality for London, as this year marked the start of trialling of smart city technology at Greenwich Peninsula. So, join our panel to debate how we should be planning and delivering a smarter London.

This event is open to all who work or study in planning and the related built environment professions. Places are limited you must book to confirm your attendance.

To book please email london@rtpi.org.uk. For more information please see the flyer or visit the webpage.

This event is kindly sponsored by Idox, UCL and Space Syntax.
