BDP again sponsored a PAL/RTPI London evening seminar ‘Other Models for Neighbourhood Planning in London’ on 24 July 2012. There were four presentations on the night. Steve Chambers from London South Bank University provided an overview of parishes in London and discussed the features of a parish structure attractive to a community. Fabian Sharp from Queen’s Park Forum then spoke about the hard work that resulted in the Forum’s success in creating a parish in
Westminster. Marco Torquati then discussed lessons learned by the Church Street Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder. Dean James, from the London Borough of Sutton, then discussed that borough’s Wave 1 Front Runner, Hackbridge. Please click here to view the presentations.
