Please Support Planning Aid London

PAL is feeling the pinch! So are PAL’s volunteers. If you have the time and energy, PAL can use the support and expertise of London RTPI members in a number of areas:

Borough Happenings

PAL needs to keep abreast of events happening all over London to make people aware of the services we offer. We are having particular difficulty getting the message out in the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Enfield, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, and Kingston. If you know of an upcoming event or an appropriate forum, please send the details through to Allison Borden, the Community Planning Team Leader at AllisonB@planningaidforlondon.org.uk . Even better, if you’re willing to attend the event on PAL’s behalf, let Allison know and she can provide you with a pack of leaflets and publications to distribute to other participants.

News of Interest to PAL Volunteers

We are always looking for short articles of interest to PAL’s network of professional volunteers for our Volunteer Newsletter. You can view the latest issue here –  http://www.planningaidforlondon.org.uk/?idno=697 . If you are interested in writing a short (max. 1000 word) piece for the newsletter, please get in touch with our Business Support Officer, Birute Sutkiene at BiruteS@planningaidforlondon.org.uk.

Fundraising

PAL is always in need of volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts. If you’re a crack hand at bid writing or enjoy the challenge of approaching potential corporate sponsors, please get in touch with AllisonB@planningaidforlondon.org.uk (bid writing) or NancyA@planningaidforlondon.org.uk (corporate sponsorship).

Calling All Consultants with Market Know-How

Anyone with corporate know-how can contribute their knowledge to PAL’s effort to grow our consultancy services. PAL needs to more tightly define its products and put together a marketing strategy that will appeal to a wider audience. If this is of interest to you, please contact NancyA@planningaidforlondon.org.uk.
